COMPLETE EXTRUSION. ENGINEERED AS ONE.
Auxiliary

Supporting systems that keep the extrusion process prepared and organized.

Auxiliary equipment often determines how efficiently tooling, scrap, samples and production materials move around the main line. ALUFORMIX supplies and integrates supporting systems according to the customer’s maintenance practice, tooling volume, automation level and plant layout.

Equipment

ALUFORMIX Auxiliary equipment

Nitriding Furnace

Supports controlled surface hardening of extrusion dies to extend useful life and improve resistance to demanding operating conditions. Furnace type, load capacity and control requirements are selected for the tooling program.

Die Cleaning System / Soda Bath

Removes aluminium residue from dies after production through a controlled cleaning process. The system design considers bath arrangement, heating, extraction, handling and operator protection.

Die Disassembly & Butt-Cutting Equipment

Assists tooling preparation and removal of retained aluminium or process residue before inspection, cleaning and maintenance.

Automatic Die Transport & Storage

Tracks and moves dies between storage, ovens, preparation and the press. Manual, assisted or automatic concepts can be configured according to die quantity and production planning.

Scrap Management System

Collects and transfers extrusion butts, cut-offs, saw chips and rejected profiles to defined recycling or handling points. The scope can include conveyors, bins, compacting interfaces and material segregation.

Profile Sample Saw

Cuts controlled samples for dimensional, mechanical or metallurgical testing. The arrangement can include length positioning, guarding, chip extraction and sample identification.

Automatic Log Storage

Provides high-capacity organization and retrieval of extrusion logs outside or ahead of the standard upstream feed system. The layout is configured around crane access, log sizes and production scheduling.

Plant Utility & Support Skids

Project-specific hydraulic, cooling-water, lubrication, air, extraction or pumping skids can be engineered as part of the complete equipment scope where required.
