COMPLETE EXTRUSION. ENGINEERED AS ONE.
Revamping & Modernization

Modernize the equipment you own. Improve the process you depend on.

A well-planned upgrade can extend useful equipment life, remove recurring bottlenecks and prepare an older line for better controls and data visibility. ALUFORMIX develops revamping programs for extrusion presses and connected equipment after reviewing the actual machine condition, operating history and target improvement.

Revamping scope

What an upgrade can cover

  • Press mechanical inspection and alignment review
  • Hydraulic power-unit and valve modernization
  • Pump, motor and drive upgrades
  • PLC, HMI, instrumentation and control-panel replacement
  • Safety guarding, interlocks and risk-reduction measures
  • Billet furnace, loader and transfer improvements
  • Quench, puller, saw and downstream upgrades
  • Cooling-table, stretcher and profile-saw modernization
  • Automation, basket logistics and warehouse integration
  • Condition monitoring and production-data connectivity
  • Documentation, training and spare-parts strategy
Our revamping method

Evidence first, scope second

  1. 01Document the baselineCollect machine drawings, control architecture, maintenance history, downtime patterns and current production data.
  2. 02Inspect and diagnoseReview equipment condition, bottlenecks, safety gaps, obsolete components and process instability.
  3. 03Define the targetAgree what the upgrade must achieve and how success will be measured.
  4. 04Develop the upgrade packagePrepare the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, software and execution scope with interfaces and shutdown plan.
  5. 05Execute in planned stagesCoordinate manufacturing, pre-testing, installation, commissioning and operator training.
  6. 06Verify and supportRecord outcomes against agreed criteria and prepare the next maintenance or improvement actions.
Upgrade by priority, not assumption

Why we do not quote a percentage before inspection

ALUFORMIX does not present fixed performance percentages before inspection. Energy, output, downtime and quality improvements depend on the equipment condition, production mix, operating discipline and selected upgrade scope. Recommendations are therefore tied to measurable baseline information wherever available.

Start with a line audit

Send the machine make, capacity, year, current issue, photographs, drawings and recent production information. We will identify the technical inputs needed for an assessment.
