The two alloys most extrusion plants run most of the time. Heat-treatable, corrosion-resistant and responsive to anodizing, they extrude readily at high ratio and are chosen when the profile has to look right as well as perform.
Line implication: high output at moderate tonnage, with surface quality decided in the quench and on the handling tables. Non-marking run-out, careful puller control and clean stacking matter more here than press size.
